Become a follower of Jesus

Learn about God's Plan for your salvation.

Read below to learn more about the most important decision you should make in your life & eternity!

Dear Friend,

At Word of Life Church of God in Christ, it is our desire to share with you God's plan for salvation through Jesus Christ.

> The Bible teaches us that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). The penalty for sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23).

> God demonstrated His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).

> If we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved (Romans 10:9).

>Salvation is a gift from God, not something we can earn or deserve (Ephesians 2:8-9). We can receive this gift by putting our faith in Jesus Christ and turning away from our sins.

If you are ready to receive this gift of salvation, I invite you to pray this prayer with me:

Dear God, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and in need of a Savior. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for my sins and was raised from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I believe in my heart that You raised Him from the dead. I turn away from my sins and ask for Your forgiveness. I invite Jesus into my heart and ask Him to be my Lord and Savior. Thank You for the gift of salvation and for loving me so much. In Jesus' name, Amen.

If you just prayed that prayer, we believe that according to God's Word

you have received salvation through faith in Jesus Christ!

We encourage you to connect with Word of Life Church where you can learn how to grow in your faith, read the Bible daily, pray, and share your faith with others. We also invite you to contact us if you have any questions or would like to learn more about following Jesus.
